Looking for a cool, extremely relaxing and therapeutic ‘spa’ moment you can do at home? Look no further – the timeless ritual of Ear Candling might just be exactly what you’re looking for. By now we know that we all need to relax and let go of daily stressors. Whether you choose to do so upon rising, as soon as you get home from work, after yoga, or before bedtime, having such a practice allows you to unwind and hence rejuvenate.
You know the calming sound you hear when you put a seashell next to your ear? Ear candling provides a similar sense of general wellbeing. The burning candle sends warm air and rhythmic sounds down through the hollow chute, gently massaging the ear canal via small vibrations, as the candle burns.
Popular relaxation practices include having a good sleep, listening to favorite songs or calming music and spending time with loved ones – all which can be done with ear candling.
Meditative qualities achieved with Ear Candling include:
- Stress reduction
- A good night’s sleep
Wally’s Natural makes Ear Candling at home simple and stress-free. Their eco-friendly candles have an easy-to-light edge, a suggested “stop burn” line and an integrated no-drip filter (no more paper plates needed to catch debris!).
If you’re new to ear candling, you’ll need:
- A bowl of water
- A towel
- A lighter
- Wally’s Natural Ear Candles
And follow these simple steps:
- Lay down and cover your hair with the towel
- Light the wide end of the candle
- Gently insert the other end into the ear
- Relax, listen to the soothing sounds and let the candle burn
- When there’s a long ‘ash’ at the end, remove from the ear, use the scissor to cut that piece off over and into the bowl. Reinsert in the ear and continue until you reach the burn line.
Once you reach the “stop burn” line, put out the flame into the bowl of water, relax, stretch and repeat on the other ear.
Remember, get yourself into a regular healing routine each day. Wally’s Ear Candles – another Simple Solution to health.
