Fresh Spring Juice with Seasonal Fruit and Vegetables… The weather is getting warmer, the sun is shining longer, and Citrus Fruits are in season!  Spring is finally here and it’s time to take advantage of some delicious seasonal fruits and vegetables. In addition to citrus fruit, apricots, rhubarb, mint and parsley are at their peak right now.

Juicing is a great way to take in valuable nutrients without having your body word hard to break down the fibers.  Through juicing, the food value is readily available to your body in larger quantities then when you eat the fruit whole.  The benefits of consuming juiced fruits and veggies include keeping your heart, liver and kidneys strong and healthy.

Here are a few Seasonal Spring Fruit and Veggie Juice recipes from OMEGA Juicers:

Sweet Spring Mix

  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 green apple
  • ¼ cup parsley
  • ¼ cup mint
  • 1 stalk of celery
  • ½ inch of fresh ginger
  • ½ lemon (peeled)

Juice together in the order given; stir the juice to mix the flavors

 

Blushing Orange Juice

  • 3 oranges
  • 1 apple
  • 1 handful raspberries

Juice together in the order given; stir the juice to mix the flavors

 

Apricot, Mango, & Orange Explosion

  • 4 apricots, pitted and halved
  • 1 mango, pitted and sliced
  • 1 orange, peeled

Juice the apricots first, then the mango, and finish with the orange. Stir the juice to mix the flavors.

 

Rhubarb Carrot Juice

  • 8 Large Fresh Cleaned Carrots
  • 1 Cup Of Sliced Rhubarb
  • 1 Large Fresh Mint Sprig (Optional Garnish)
  • 1 Fresh Cut Lemon Wedge (Optional Garnish)

Juice together in the order given; stir the juice to mix the flavors

 

Spring Fever

  • 2 oranges, peeled
  • 1/2 lemon, peeled
  • 2 carrots
  • 1/2 cup dandelion leaves.
